Well, it has been some time since my last post and I wasn’t particularly planning on posting again … however, I watched the Presidential Debate this evening at the Balboa Theatre down the street from my place:
… And am feeling quite civic at the moment.
Here’s how it went down … so I booked it out of work an hour early (Note to the HR Department: I got my make-up time pre-approved) and promptly started texting the homeys from MUNI:
After meeting up with Paige at home, we cruised on down the street and got in the theatre early enough to save some seats right up front:
Jesse promptly arrived:
… Followed shortly thereafter by Luke:
Needless to say, the experience was grand. Obama delivered brilliantly, and the crowd was inspirational.
Indeed, the city brought out the love in us all:
… So, what else is there to say? I am sure that it is off-the-charts easy to guess where my biases lay … I mean, for me – Seriously. Ahhhhhh. I am trying to phrase this somehow, but all I can think of is how dope Obama was when he promised to double the size of the Peace Corps. Bless his soul.
